After being forced to cancel the original launch event on August 2, Motorola launched the much-anticipated Moto Razr 2022 in China. The Moto Razr 2022 will compete with the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4.
Motorola also launched the Moto X30 Pro and Moto S30 Pro, Moto X30 Pro is the real flagship device of the Chinese tech giant. But let us also tell you that the Moto X30 Pro is the world's first phone with a 200MP camera. But the foldable phone isn't the only flagship phone the company has launched.
Moto X30 Pro: 100% charge in 19 minutes
The Moto X30 Pro features the HP1 200MP sensor that was launched last year. Other key features of the Moto X30 Pro include a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip, 125W fast charging - the fastest charging ever on any Moto phone, 50W wireless charging, and a 6.7" 144Hz refresh rate display. Motorola claims that the new wired charging gives the X30 Pro a 50% charge in just seven minutes and a 100% charge in 19 minutes.
Moto X30 Pro: a fingerprint scanner and an under-display display
Moto X30 Pro is Motorola's new flagship smartphone that is packed with cutting edge hardware. It features Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The X30 Pro also features a 6.67-inch FHD+ 144Hz OLED display with HDR10+ and a brightness of 1,200 nits. There is also a fingerprint scanner under the screen to unlock the device.
Moto X30 Pro: Camera
The phone has a Samsung HP1 200MP sensor that was launched last year. It can choose to use each 200 megapixels as individual pixels of 0.64 microns in size. It uses Samsung's chameleon cell pixel aggregation technology to combine four or 16 pixels into one larger pixel.
Both of these configurations effectively convert the Isocell HP1 into a 50MP sensor with 1.28 µm pixels or a 12.5MP sensor with 2.56 µm pixels. Apart from the 200MP shooter, the Moto X30 Pro has two other rear cameras. It includes a 50MP ultra-wide sensor and a 12MP telephoto camera. There is a 60MP selfie camera on the front.
Moto X30 Pro: Price
Of course, there's more to the Moto X30 Pro. The device could easily be the most powerful flagship to be launched this year. However, unfortunately, the X30 Pro is only offered in China. Pricing starts at 3,699 Yuan (~$549) for the 8GB/128GB model, and goes up to 4,499 Yuan (~$668) for the 12GB/512GB flavor. There has been some talk of an international launch like the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra at €899 ($915), but it's hard to say.
